Thank you for the great editing! I didn't know that "an OBGYN and vascular surgery expert" requires the singular form of expert. The flow and spontaneity of my writing are more important for me than the spelling, minor factual mistakes, or the correct names of medications, because – as most foreigners – I fear that I will sound foreign. Without your help, I would not come up with a phrase like "the plan was to have the plaintiff return to the urogynecology service" on my own. I appreciate you tremendously.

Of note, a patent blood vessel (or any hollow tubular organ) means that its lumen is unobstructed :-D   I didn't know that until I started reviewing volumes upon volumes of medical records ))
