You are now officially an editor at EditorWorld.com. Please read this ENTIRE e-mail before using EditorWorld.com and save it for your reference.

You can now log in to your account using the username and password you registered with. After reading this ENTIRE email and familiarizing yourself with the Provider Console, you can make your profile available on the site through the Availability Management section. You can make yourself available for regular editing (1-day turnaround and longer) as well as same-day editing (2-, 4-, or 8-hour) and free sample edit requests. Please be aware that making yourself available on the site indicates to clients that you are available to edit documents.

You are responsible for completing every transaction that you are selected for. If you do not download a new document within a reasonable time period and/or upload the edited document by the due date, your profile may be removed from the Editor World website. A failure to provide quality editing services may also lead to removal from the site. Please abide by the following when you make your profile available at www.editorworld.com:

1) Check the e-mail you registered with at least once each day (when your profile is available on the site). If you choose to make yourself available for same-day editing, check your email and/or your Provider Console at least once every 20 minutes. Download the client's file as soon as possible so he/she knows you have received it.

2) Again, if you choose to make yourself available for same-day editing, check your email and/or your Provider Console at least once every 20 minutes. Download the client's file as soon as possible so he/she knows you have received it. Same-day editing documents should be downloaded within 30 minutes of receiving the request so the client knows you have received it and to make sure there are no problems with the file. Turn off same-day availability when you will be away from your computer for more than 30 minutes.

3) If you will be away from your computer for more than a day (if you are on vacation, don’t check email on weekends, etc.), make your profile Unavailable in the Availability Management section of your Provider Console. You should verify that the status of your account changes to Unavailable by viewing the list of editors at www.editorworld.com/editors. If your profile is available, you are indicating that you are able to accept all transactions submitted by clients.

4) If you are selected to edit a transaction, download the document as soon as possible, and always within 12 hours of receiving a request for 1-day editing or longer. Clients are notified of the current status of their transaction and can see if their document has not been downloaded by the editor. If the file is blank or cannot be opened, please email us immediately at info@editorworld.com.

5) For regular editing transactions, edit and upload documents by midnight on the due date (for same-day editing transactions you are required to upload edited documents by the deadline stated). If you have a valid emergency and are unable to submit an edited document by midnight on the due date, please notify us via e-mail at info@editorworld.com in advance.

6) If you are selected for a free sample edit, please download the document from the Free Sample Edit section of your Provider Console as soon as possible. You are not required to complete the free sample edit requests, but it is suggested because it can increase the number of transactions you are chosen for. If you choose to decline a free sample edit request, please do so upon receiving the free sample edit request notification. You are not required to edit the entire document submitted for the free sample edit. You may choose to edit only the first few sentences or first paragraph, particularly for very short documents such as personal statements.

7) You should not share your personal information (phone number, email address, website, LinkedIn profile, etc.) with clients on the Editor World website.

Same-Day Editing

If you choose to make yourself available for 2-, 4-, or 8-hour editing, you are responsible for checking your e-mail at least once every 20 minutes. You are responsible for editing all 2-, 4-, and 8-hour transactions you are selected for. Please remember to change your availability for Same-Day Editing to unavailable in the evenings or other times when you will be away from your computer for more than 30 minutes.

The Editor World Transaction Process

First, a client selects an editor to edit a document. If you are selected as an editor, an email notification will be sent to the email address you registered with.

To download the document, go to www.editorworld.com, log in to your Provider Console on the top right, click on Documents, and click on the Download link.

If the client does not upload the document properly or you are unable to open the document, please e-mail us immediately at info@editorworld.com.

If you would like to offer a discount of up to 20% in order to gain clients as a new editor, please let us know and we will add the coupon code and information to your profile.

Editing Documents

All corrections should be made using Microsoft Word Track Changes.

Please run a spell check after you finish editing the document (before uploading the document) to make sure you have not missed any errors in the document.

After you have completed editing the document, log in to your Provider Console at www.editorworld.com, click on Documents, and click on the Upload link.

You must upload the edited document before midnight on the transaction due date, or the deadline for same-day editing requests. If the transaction is not uploaded by the due date, your earnings will be reduced by up to 100%.

Earnings payments for editing services completed will be sent once a month around the 15th day of the month (for example, the earnings for all editing services provided in June will be sent around July 15th).

After a transaction, the client can rate your editing performance from 1 to 5 stars. Your profile on the Editor World website shows your average client rating and you are ranked by this rating and the number of pages edited through www.editorworld.com.

Free Sample Edit Requests

Again, you are not required to complete free sample edit requests, but please decline when you receive the request if you do not plan on completing it. If you are willing to provide a free sample edit, you are not required to edit the entire document submitted (you may only want to edit the first few sentences or first paragraph, particularly if it's a short document). Please complete free sample edit requests within 2 days of the request OR decline within 12 hours of receiving the notification.

Free sample edit requests are limited to 5 per client. If you believe a client is abusing the free sample edit system, please contact us at info@editorworld.com.
